Silk Flower Creations evolved from a driving passion for floral design and a desire to offer brides and clients a truly friendly and personal service with real attention to detail and without the distractions of a high street shop.
We specialise only in wedding floristry, which means that you can trust our experience to shine through. We have created silk flower designs for over 100 weddings, from the most elaborate designs to the simplest of informal creations, and all with the same personal and friendly approach, whatever the size of your wedding you'll get the same personal and friendly help and advice as well as real value for money.
Although we are based in Frankston, Victoria, we ship our designs worldwide and have previously created arrangements for weddings in England, India, Bali, Fiji just to name a few, and of course all throughout Australia.
We are the only silk flower company in Australia where you can select all of your wedding flower requirements, have them custom made and be given the option to purchase or hire them.
You can request some progress pictures to be emailed to as the arrangements are being created. This enables you to make any necessary modifications if needed.
How much notice is needed?
We require a minimum of 2 months notice to allow for any unforeseen hiccups and stock delays, however we will always try to accommodate clients with shorter notice.
What is the postage policy?
We currently use Australia Post for all deliveries. Postage rates are calculated according to the item weight. Prices will be confirmed at time of order.
How do the flowers arrive?
All of the flowers arrive in a plain brown box. Included with the flowers is a copy of your order, care instructions, tips, and a re-packing checklist if you are hiring your flowers.
What is the payment policy?
For ALL orders (purchase or hire) we require a non-refundable deposit of 20%. For more information on this matter, please contact us or read our terms and conditions.
Why Silk Flowers & Not Fresh?
The silk flower industry has come a long way over the years and now it can be almost impossible to tell the difference between fresh and artificial.
They are much lighter to carry and they are certainly cheaper than fresh.
They will surely last the demands of a “Hot” wedding day. Fresh flowers wilt easily in temperatures over 26 degrees, so deciding on fresh or silk could mean choosing between having stunning bouquets all day, or for the ceremony only.
Getting married overseas means that you can have your desired bouquet and take them through customs with you.
Having silk flowers means that you are not restricted with flower selection due to the season - every flower is always available all year round
Colour selection is easier too - Having an unusual colour scheme is now no longer a problem.
